1 PTSA NEWS P T S A Donation Drive 7/24 9/1 Join our team! Why join the PTSA? Because with you, we can make a difference! We are off to a GREAT start with 180+ members and would love for you to join us too! A membership form is attached to this packet, or you can complete one online and pay by Credit/Debit by going to The Donation Drive kicks off today! Be on the lookout for packets coming home with your students. It is our hope that the Donation Drive will be our biggest fundraiser! If we are able to meet our goal of $26,000, then we will be able to minimize the need for additional fundraising throughout the year. This year we are fundraising for technology, health, and fitness. Donations must be turned in by 9/1 in order to qualify for prizes. Donation Drive information is included in this packet. Donations can be made by Cash/Check (made payable to Esmond Station PTSA) or online by Debit/Credit by going to Wednesday, August 2 nd 4-8pm The Chipotle on 22 nd and Harrison is graciously giving us 50% of all sales during that time! Enjoy a night off from cooking, eat some delicious food, and support your school at the same time!! Don't forget bring your flyer so we get credit! We've got spirit, yes we do! We also have shirts available for preorder! An order form will be coming home with your student sometime this week. 3 PTSA Donation Drive Esmond Station is growing!! Unfortunately, this growth also means that our schools needs are greater. We are in need of funds to provide some much needed technology, health, and fitness equipment for student usage. This year we are trying a Donation Drive as a fundraiser. We have have a goal of $26,000 or a mere $40.00 per student. If we are fortunate to meet this goal, we will be able to minimize the need for additional fundraising throughout the year. Last year we earned: Fundraising - $18, (Spell-A-Thon, 5K, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son) Community Rewards - $ (Fry's Cool Cash/Box Tops/Amazon Smiles/Restaurant Nights) Business Donations - $2, Where did all the Fundraising Expenses include prizes, set up costs, etc. Give Back Expenses include Art Night, AZ Merit Testing Snacks, Craft Day, Donuts with Parents, Field Day, Grandparent's Day, Last Blast, Love of Reading Week, Movie Night, Science Fair, Star Party and Polar Express Freebies. Grant Expenses include 22 Chromebooks, Rock Wall, Shelving for Specialists and much more!

4 ARE THERE PRIZES? The PTSA Donation Drive goal is $26,000 or a mere $40.00 per student. If we are fortunate to meet this goal, we will be able to minimize the need for additional fundraising throughout the year. As a reward for your hard work soliciting donations to help out your school, here are the prizes, you could earn! Earn $10.00 in donations and you will receive a pencil! Earn $20.00 in donations and you will receive a Homework Pass! Earn $40.00 in donations and you will receive a $5.00 Scholastic Book Fair Credit! Earn $ in donations and you will receive a Pizza Party with Mr. Wood! Earn $ in donations and you will receive a field trip with Mr. Wood to the movies! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT! Think about asking grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends and neighbors. Students are not encouraged to perform door-to-door solicitation. Remember, since no goods are being sold or purchased, all pledges are fully tax-deductible.
