2 Coordination Groups CUEL EAG/UT-EPI UFSTF UT-NEDSS User Group

3 CUEL: Council of Utah Epidemiologists & Laboratorians This group provides training opportunities related to disease detection and remediation. It helps improve skills and processes through sharing of best practices and lessons learned while fostering communication and working relationships among participants

5 EAG/UT-EPI: Epidemiology Affiliate Group As an affiliate of UALHD, this group develops and recommends policy to the local health officers for adoption and is responsible for implementation of that policy. EAG establishes a unified local public health voice regarding epidemiology including communicable disease surveillance, prevention, and control.

7 UFSTF: Utah Food Safety Task Force Created to improve information sharing and collaboration among food safety regulators, educators, consumers, and the food industry

9 UT-NEDSS Workgroup The workgroup serves as a venue for continued collaboration between UDOH and LHDs regarding NEDSS. Meetings provide an opportunity to demonstrate new functionality, facilitate training to maximize data quality, and give feedback on ideas for future system development.
