1 Free Working Well Together Event 23 November 2017 EVERY WEEK ONE OF US DIES To be held at: The Black Country Living Museum, Tipton Road, Dudley. DY1 4SQ.
2 Introduction This is one of a series of free partnership events run by the industry for the industry, as part of the UK-wide Working Well Together (WWT) Campaign. The WWT Group, supported by the Health & Safety Executive, is holding a FREE half day event aimed at managers, supervisors and operatives. The aims of this event are to raise awareness of construction related health problems and to give practical advice on how to control and avoid the risks. Topics covered will include respiratory risks from construction dust, hand arm vibration syndrome, noise, manual handling and stress. HSE Support This event will provide you with the opportunity to obtain advice and to see practical solutions on how to reduce risks to health. If you are a self-employed person or someone working for a business employing less than 50 employees, in the construction industry (operatives, site supervisors and site managers) then this FREE half day event is a must for you. 4 How to find us Black Country Living Museum Tipton Road, Dudley, DY1 4SQ By road The Black Country Living Museum is situated in the heart of the Black Country on the A4037 between Dudley and Tipton. The Museum is well signposted from the M5 and M6. M5 Junction 2: Follow the A4123 northwest toward Wolverhampton / Dudley. After three miles, turn left onto the A4037 Tipton Road heading south. The entrance is 150 yards on your right. Note: these directions are from the M5 junction 2. Please be aware that the Black Country i (information) signs at junctions 1 and 3 do not direct the to Museum. M6 Junction 10: Follow the A454 (A463) Black Country Route toward Wolverhampton and Dudley for 4.4 miles. Turn left onto the A4123 Birmingham New Road toward Dudley heading southeast for 2.4 miles. Turn right onto the A4037 Tipton Road heading south. The entrance is 150 yards on your right. Car parking: There is ample car parking available at the museum and the parking will be free of charge on the day (you will be given a token to use at registration).
