2 Working Well Together Event With the HSE devoting more of its time and effort to reglating smaller sites and bsinesses there has never been a more important time for everyone in constrction, especially the self-employed and small constrction companies, to nderstand how to comply with their obligations. This free half-day event is the perfect opportnity for yo to gain a better nderstanding of some key health and safety responsibilities and how to safegard the health and wellbeing of yo, yor workforce and yor bsiness. On the 4th March at The NSBRC, constrction indstry experts will be on hand to offer gidance and advice on: Asbestos Awareness - Did yo know that on average 20 tradesman a week die from asbestos exposre? Dst and COSHH - Constrction dst is not jst a nisance; it s a real risk to yor lngs and potentially yor life. RPE and Face Fit Testing - Wearing a mask that doesn t fit means yo re not protected, and yo re not legal. Hand Arm & Whole Body Vibration - If yo are a reglar ser of power tools and eqipment yo cold be at risk of permanent damage to yor nerves and blood vessels. Noise in Constrction - Yong workers can be damaged as easily as older ones, so listen to some good advice before it s too late.
