Nothing pairs be er with a great meal than good wine, even be er company and causes worth rallying around! Featuring the same contagious energy introduced by Cakes for a Cause, this evening will bring the best of both worlds to bear fine dining and a li le friendly compe on. Event Summary: Deliciously Fun Specifics Saturday, April 29 5:30 p.m. un l the dancing s done Hathaway Crea ve Center Waterville, Maine Cocktail hour & hearty hors d oeuvres followed by a delectable farm to table dinner with cash bar and engaging entertainment $75 per cket; reserved table of 8 for $550 Some mes less is more and nothing illustrates that be er than locally field grown food prepared to embrace its natural flavors and plated beau fully to add to the experience. Purchasing nearly 100,000 pounds of local food each year, which brings over $300,000 into our local economy, MaineGeneral s Food & Nutri on team works relessly to bring healthy, crea ve culinary experiences to pa ents and families every day. Farms, Forks & Friends! will do the same with a sophis cated evening of fine dining that demonstrates just how delicious pairing farm fresh food and incredible company can be. In the spirit of suppor ng important health care ini a ves, the evening will maintain a compe ve edge by featuring several MaineGeneral causes that a endees can support as they dine, dance and do good for their families, friends and neighbors. The cause that has raised the most at the end of the evening will receive the much sought a er Kennebec Savings Bank (KSB) $5K bonus! Beneficiaries Proceeds from the evening will go to support one or more of the MaineGeneral programs below, all of which touch countless lives in profound ways. Our mission is to make these vulnerable health care intersec ons navigable with quality medical care and compassionate stewards throughout. They ll tackle a series of common kitchen tasks made more difficult by mi ens, blindfolds and more. See what shenanigans unfold as MaineGeneral Health s C Suite members, Chuck Hays and his team, compete against a team of challengers assembled by you with dona ons to heat up the compe on. In the end, donated dollars will determine who has the Chops! The winning team gets to decide which cause gets their hard won dollars!
