ACP provides a forum for members to network with people in similar job roles across a wide variety of for profit businesses, non-profits, government, higher education, and NGO organizations. We offer training and education at the national and local chapter levels that our members find invaluable. The dedicated men and women in our profession know firsthand the value of working together for the greater good. Four women, Louise, Lise, Carole and Lily are seated at a table and chatting about their holidays. 1/7

2 Interaction, collaboration and coordination are integral parts of the work we do. Working together not only helps us do our jobs, it helps us do our jobs better. As I sit back and reflect on ACP and the South Texas Chapter, I have so much to be thankful for! First and foremost, I am thankful for the Chapter Board Members that continue to keep our local chapter moving in the right direction. Assuring that our funds are used in the most efficient and meaningful way and ensuring that our monthly programs meetings provide useful content, and that we continue to provide training opportunities for continued educational credits and lastly, to be a face on the social media front. This is a small view through the window of what the Chapter Board provides to us all and I commend their efforts as this is all volunteer work and they have done an exceptional job! I am thankful for the chapter members, who continue to support the local chapter and our endeavors! I know that as our daily job functions change, it can become a bit difficult to participate on a monthly basis, but we appreciate your continued commitment to us! Looking ahead to what is on the horizon for 2015, we will be hosting a tabletop exercise to which we would love to have you all participate in! We will also be looking at hosting a virtual chapter meeting so that we can reach those members that may not be able to join us in person. We would like to establish another field trip/meeting combination, as the event held at the Port of Houston was a great success. My first year as Chapter President has been fun! We've accomplished a lot, I've learned a lot, and I've met some really good people along the way! After all, isn't that what Business Continuity is about? They went to California, Texas, Florida and Arizona riding a lion, tiger, zebra and a pony. Who went to what state on what animal? Hints: 1- The woman riding the zebra did not smoke. 2- Carole declared that she loved Miami. 3- The woman riding the tiger had a cigarette with Lily. 4- Louise said :" Buy your pony a new saddle, Carole. I saw some during ourtrip to California?" 5- The woman riding the tiger mentioned that she had seen the Alamo in Texas. 6- Lise was a chain-smoker. Think you know? Shoot me your answers here!
