This series will be held at Mercury Hall in 2018 and programming will include AIA Austin business items, as well as speakers of interest to members and guests. 7 SUMMER CONFERENCE & PRODUCT EXPO The Summer Conference is a two-day continuing education program for the design community offering up to 15 continuing education credits in a relaxed and local way. The Summer Conference brings a cross section of design professionals, over 250 participants, into one place here in Central Texas. These sponsorship opportunities are designed specifically for building/ industry companies, product suppliers, and design professionals to have face-to-face time with architects and product specifiers on both days of the Conference. The product expo is open to attendees during lunch on both days as well as the Happy Hour on day 1 of the Conference. The two-day self-guided tour celebrates the diverse and stunning design talent of Austin s local architects, featuring both traditional and contemporary designs. The Tour affords the public a firsthand view of the intersection of form and function, and allows individuals to experience the sense of place that is exclusively gained through 3-D exploration. The Tour sees over 5000 attendees and is one of the most popular fall weekend events in Central Texas, and AIA Austin s most dynamic community outreach program.
