4 What are whole foods? Food that has been processed or refined as little as possible and is free from additives or other artificial substances. - From nature - Unprocessed

5 What are superfoods? In my opinion, any whole food is a super food!

6 The problem: We have strayed too far into the world of processed foods

10 Food businesses have an incredibly big and important role here. There are far too many brands churning out foods that are full of: Refined sugar - that gets us addicted Chemicals - it s cheaper than whole foods Additives - to extend shelf life

12 We need to go back to basics

13 How and why we began this. The A Team Foundation My rebellious journey began six years ago, when my husband Ben and I launched the charity The A Team Foundation in 2008, to revolutionize the nation s approach to food, health and sustainability. Although we are effecting great change from the charitable angle, it s a slow process as every step forward we make from the charity s side, big business comes in and send us 2 steps back. We soon realized that to really shake things up though, we needed to BE the change we wanted to see in the world! We needed to show that you could be a commercial viable and successful brand without killing people to get there.

14 We are challenging the food space in a mega way by getting people excited about health food with an engaging and loveable brand, products that taste awesome direct from nature while containing no additives or preservatives and showing that you can be BIG commercial brand that doesn t harm people or the food system in the process.

15 Rebel Kitchen s goals To help show consumers that eating healthily CAN taste awesome and should be FUN! We want to introduce consumers to whole ingredients and their benefits through the drink and to give them the baton to start taking their health into their own hands. We also want to set an example by being responsible and accountable while still being commercially viable. But it s vital that we start putting people s health before profits
