2 dermofeel enlight The product: dermofeel enlight This effective natural whitening blend is best suitable for the treatment of the signs of ageing, e.g. age spot reduction. The activity of this raw material is based on the tyrosinase-enzyme inhibiting properties of phytic acid and the constituents of white mulberry extract. Tyrosinase is the determining catalyst in the melanine synthesis. Sodium Phytate also stimulates the natural exfoliation (skin peeling) on the skin surface. Calcium ions, which are involved in the cohesion of the dead stratum corneum, get bound. This leads to the destabilization of cell-to-cell adhesion accelerating the natural exfoliation of dead melanin-filled corneocytes. The melanin-filled cells are replaced by new melanin-reduced cells. Morus Alba Fruit Extract from the White Mulberry comprises multiple bioactive substances. They are involved in the reduction of melanin synthesis mostly as inhibitors of the tyrosinase activity. 4 ITA value dermofeel enlight Proof of Performance In vivo study conducted by an external test institute Over a course of 8 weeks, a gel containing 2% dermofeel enlight was applied twice a day on selected age spots on hands and face of 20 participants. The effect was compared to a placebo gel in a blinded randomized study design. Whitening effect measured by variation in ITA parameter 30 *** active formulation with 2% dermofeel enlight placebo formulation T0 T8weeks *** p< 0,0001 ITA variation after 8 weeks using a formulation with dermofeel enlight: 6,05 (25,6%). The whitening efficacy of the active formulation containing 2% dermofeel enlight is proved by statistically significant improvements in skin luminosity and in ITA values, sensible indexes of changes in pigmentation intensity.
