7 Research Fertilizer and Bio-stimulant Properties Dr. David Patriquin, Dalhousie University (July 27, 1993) - Halifax, Nova Scotia TESTING EFFECTIVENESS OF NUTRI-WAVE AS AN EARLY GREENING-UP AGENT FOR TURFS Greening up was first observed simultaneously in NPK and Nutri-Wave-treated plots on the 16th of May. The Nutri-Wave N appears to have been just as rapidly available as was the synthetic N. It is notable that this occurred in spite of a cold spell over the period May 10 to 13. In this regard, Nutri-Wave is probably superior to many other organic fertilizers for spring application.

Nutri-Wave is adequate to hold plants for the first month after transportation from Florida. Nutri-Wave prolonged flowering in Cyclamen two weeks beyond dormancy compared to other treatments. Nutri-Wave was the only treatment to control aphids. In field trials, Nutri-Wave used as a soil drench lessened transplant shock and promoted very fast greening.
