RESOLVED, that the Town Board grant permission for Judy Nieman, Domestic Violence Advocate, to carry over 40 hours of unused vacation time from 2003 into Moved: Kesner Seconded: Hochul Councilwoman Kesner explains that this is not normally the policy, however, Judy is a one man show and was not able to take her vacation time. Her concern is that if she were to take the time during the holidays, that seems to be the time of year when domestic violence is at its peak. So, in responsibility to her position and to serve our Town she asked if they could make an exception. Councilwoman Hochul commends Judy for working through the holidays. Councilwoman Kesner comments that to date she has helped over 860 victims since her first day of hire. This has been a worthwhile venture. Catherine Rybczynski, Town Clerk
