2 The ESPA Innovation Awards The ESPA Innovation Awards reflects the ESPA aim of to stimulate exchange of experience, best practice and know-how. It is made for destinations, facilities or initiatives that represent innovation in the true sense of the word; that is, the development of a new, more creative or more effective approach to any aspect of spas and health resorts management, operations or marketing. This is accomplished through more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or ideas that are readily available to the market. The emphasis in judging applicants for the ESPA Innovation Awards will be on how effectively the innovation addresses its stated objectives, which may be to improve efficiency, increase marketability, effect cost savings, achieve environmental goals, improve market position.

No refunds will be made.

5 The ESPA Innovation Awards how to enter: Participation in the ESPA Innovation Awards is only open to the ESPA member organizations Members. The only exception is Category 5 Innovative Spa Concept. In order to apply for the ESPA Innovation Awards, the candidates must respond to each of the following areas and submit the completed Application Form to the ESPA Secretariat Office no later than March 31 st, 2015 Download the APPLICATION FORM Download the HOW TO PREPARE AND SUBMITT ENTRIES Download the BENEFITS OF AN ESPA INNOVATION AWARD

6 The ESPA Innovation Awards evaluation: All completed submissions will be supplied to the Jury for rating according to the evaluation criteria and making recommendations for the award. The Jury will select a short list of applicants from which the final award winner on each category will be chosen. The final candidates of each category will be presented during the ESPA Innovation Awards Event Specifically, the evaluation criteria that will guide the Jury are as follows: Originality of the innovation Impact of the innovation Practicality of its application Measurability of the benefits Applicability
