2 JYG 2016 IMPORTANT INFORMATION SATURDAY-SUNDAY, FEB HOLIDAY INN NEENAH RIVERWALK 123 East Wisconsin Ave., Neenah DEADLINE: JANUARY 13, 2016 VERY FIRM DUE TO HOTEL REQUIREMENTS COST: $40 for sixth-graders (Trinity pays the other half) $80 for seventh- and eighth-graders INCLUDES SATURDAY-EVENING MEAL, SUNDAY BREAKFAST, AND A T-SHIRT. THIS FAITH-FILLED EVENT IS REQUIRED FOR SIXTH-GRADE CONFIRMATION. SEVENTH- AND EIGHTH-GRADERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO JOIN IN THE FUN. ALL PAPERWORK WITH PAYMENT IS DUE TO TRINITY ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13.

DISMISSAL: THE GATHERING ENDS AROUND NOON ON SUNDAY SATURDAY DINNER THEME: BOARD GAME CHARACTERS BRING CANNED GOODS! THE CHURCH THAT BRINGS THE MOST CANNED GOODS WILL WIN THE SPAM AWARD. GOODS WILL BE GIVEN TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRY. SUNDAY OFFERING: SPECIAL OLYMPICS REMEMBER YOUR CANNED GOODS!!! PLEASE LEAVE ELECTRONICS AT HOME AS NOT TO DISRUPT THE GATHERING. CELL PHONES ARE ONLY ALLOWED DURING LARGE GROUPS AND WORKSHOPS TO TAKE PICTURES. DRESS CODE: PLEASE REMEMBER WHAT YOU ARE ATTENDING. INAPPROPRIATE CLOTHING AS SPAGHETTI STRAPS, TANK TOPS, BARE MIDRIFFS AND VISIBLE BOXERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED AT THIS GATHERING.PLEASE LEAVE SHIRTS WITH OFFENSIVE SAYINGS OR PROMOTING ALCOHOL OR DRUG USE AT HOME. AUCTION: THERE WILL BE AN AUCTION ON SATURDAY EVENING TO BENEFIT THE BOARD SPONSORED COMPASSION CHILD. TRINITY WILL BE ARRANGING CHAPERONES AND TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE GATHERING. Dan Scharnhorst comes to us with 17 years of experience speaking in over 30 states. He has spent his entire adult life working with youth as a camp program director, youth group leader, volunteering through Youth Encounter and currently serves as the Executive Director of Bear Creek Camp in Wilkes Barre, PA. Dakota Road has become known nationally for their stirring original music and playful performance style. They craft powerful stories of life and faith woven in colorful musical styles ranging from acoustic ballads to rock anthems. Their songs of faith and love, hurt and hopes are shaped by a passion for justice and a vision for the church, neighborhood and the whole world to be a peaceful welcoming place.

The following elements are mandatory for all participants to follow during out time together. Please review and sign. 1) Use or consumption of alcohol, tobacco or other drugs during the gathering is prohibited. Offenders will be sent home at their expense. 2) Housing is 4 youth and one adult per room. Participants and/or churches are responsible for any damage and/or bills associated with or incurred by the participants assigned to the room. 3) No inner hotel phone calls after 12:00am unless emergency. 4) Our actions will speak louder than our words. Do onto others as Christ would do onto you. Respect hotel staff, grounds, each other and other guests. 5) Attend large group sessions, workshops and conference meetings. These are for the benefit of all participants, youth and adult alike. 6) Live, grow, and expand in Christ over this period of time. Following the example of Christ will help us all and learning of Him will help us all. Use small group time to study the Word and theme.
