2 The Mobile Family Success Center of Middlesex County invites you to our upcoming events! Mobile Family Success Center is a community-based, family-centered program utilizing neighborhood gathering places where any community resident can go for social connections, family support, information and services. The program currently focuses on bringing services to Piscataway, Edison, Sayreville, North Brunswick and East Brunswick, but any resident of Middlesex County can attend. RSVPs are always appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome. Supplies and giveaways may be limited to a first come, first served basis. Get creative with this relaxing craft decorating trinket boxes. Wednesday, September 12th, PM to 5 PM APPLE ORCHARD FRAMES at Piscataway Library, 500 Hoes Ln, Piscataway, NJ. Kids will arrange an apple orchard themed frame and fill with a polaroid photo of themselves to commemorate the start of the new school year. VISIT US IN SAYREVILLE Saturday, September 15th, PM to 4 PM SAYREVILLE DAY at Kennedy Park, 807 Washington Rd, Sayreville, NJ. MFSC will host an informational table at this township event. Free giveaways. Tuesday, September 25th, :30 PM to 3:30 PM DIY JOURNALS at Sayreville Library, 1050 Washington Rd, Sayreville, NJ. Teens will get creative and decorate personal journals to use to express themselves. VISIT US IN EAST BRUNSWICK Sunday, September 23rd, PM to 5 PM EAST BRUNSWICK DAY at The Community Arts Ctr., 715 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ. MFSC will host an informational table about free programming available to community members at this township event. Free giveaways. Wednesday, September 26th, PM to 5 PM APPLE FOAM FRAMES at East Brunswick Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Ctr, East Brunswick, NJ. This meeting will take place via video conference so that families can participate from anywhere. Anyone residing in Edison, East Brunswick, North Brunswick, Piscataway, or Sayreville may participate to provide input on future programming. Parents will get ideas for healthy, fun lunchbox recipes. Demo, recipe ideas, & raffles. Thursday, September 13th, AM to 12 PM LEAD PREVENTION at Family Support Organization, 1 Ethel Rd, Suite 108, Edison, NJ. Workshop presented by Puerto Rican Action Board. Parents will learn about the dangers of lead and how to protect against lead poisoning. Monday, September 17th, AM to 12 PM OUTREACH at Menlo Park Mall, 55 Parsonage Rd, Edison, NJ. MFSC will be hosting an informational table at the mall to share our upcoming, calendars, events, & available services with the community. Monday, September 10th, AM to 12 PM GRANDPARENTS DAY at North Brunswick Senior Center, 5 Linwood Pl, North Brunswick, NJ. Grandparents bring your grandkids in (schools are closed on 9/10/18) for this bonding event. Create family trees together. Lunch & raffles provided. Tuesday, September 18th, PM to 7 PM TEDDY BEAR CHECK UP at Parsons Elementary, 899 Hollywood St, North Brunswick, NJ. Bring the kids along with their favorite stuffed animal for a workshop about check ups and health by the Pediatric Residents of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
