2 Deaf Centre English/Computer class on Wednesday 4 th & 18 th July Art Group Tuesday evening 6.30pm-8.30pm Knitting Group Friday morning Whist Drive every 1 st and 3 rd Thursday of the month cost 2.00 On Wednesday 4 th July we have Ros Tennekoon fully qualified hairdresser come to the Deaf Centre for haircut wash colour blow dry. Have BSL to communicate. Future Events: Wednesday 1 st August at 11.00am Tolhouse Gaol Museum, Great Yarmouth. Cost 3.40 per person. Interpreter Rosemary Pell Thursday 23 rd August Healthy Walk - Waveney Sculpture Trail. Meet at The Raveningham Centre, Beccles Road, Raveningham. NR14 6NU at 12.45pm Interpreter Anne Richardson Soul Church visit with BSL Interpreter coming soon. More events soon look out for Posters at the Deaf Centre.

3 What s been happening in the Norfolk Deaf Community? Healthy Walk Our healthy walk on Thursday 14 th June was at North Burlingham it was a lovely 2 mile walk through the woods and village. Afterwards we went to MacDonalds nearby for refreshments.

A lovely afternoon for our healthy walk, we met at the Blue Boar Pub Sprowston and then walked along Church Lane and visit a lovely church, then walked through a small wood and on the edge of a field doing just under 2 miles before heading back to the pub for a welcoming cold drink.

6 Art school Art school has now changed to Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm At Art school we have been busy doing many different things

7 Our finished products from the pottery session we had at a private house. We went back after they were fired in a kiln to put on colours and then refired again. We are really pleased with the end results. Another busy evening at Art School, doing lots of different projects.

8 Our new project this evening at Art School was making a start on Self Portraits and learning about grid work.
