2 ISOQOL: Who We Are and What We Do The scientific study of Quality of Life relevant to health and healthcare is the mission of the International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL). The Society promotes the rigorous investigation of health-related quality of life measurement from conceptualization to application and practice. ISOQOL fosters the worldwide exchange of information through scientific publications, international conferences, educational outreach, and collaborative support for HRQOL initiatives. With over 700 members representing 43 countries, ISOQOL is an international society with activities focused on promotion of high quality research in the science of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) measurement. About the ISOQOL 19th Annual Conference The 2012 Annual Conference (October 24-27, 2012 Budapest, Hungary) will focus onward into a new era of improving the quality of life for individual patients, populations and society as a whole. Sessions will focus on the areas of disparities in healthcare, emerging uses for healthcare information technology and personalized health information. 7 ISOQOL EXHIBIT TERMS & CONDITIONS In exchange for payment in full for the exhibit space contracted by the exhibitor, ISOQOL will provide the following: One (1) six foot skirted table (show colors), one (1) chair and 110v electrical outlet. Exhibit space will not have side or back drapes. If exhibitor requires additional electrical requirements, advise ISOQOL staff. Additional charges will be the responsibility of exhibitor. Subletting of exhibit space is not permitted. Sharing of exhibit space is not permitted unless it is with divisions of the same organization and must be approved in advance by ISOQOL. ISOQOL reserves the right to (a) reject any exhibit application; (b) reject, prohibit, restrict or otherwise require modification of any exhibit for any reason; and (c) evict or ban any exhibitor whose exhibit, materials or conduct is objectionable for any reason. Violation of any regulations on the part of the exhibitor, its employees or agents shall void the right to occupy space, and such exhibitor will forfeit to ISOQOL all monies that may have been paid. Upon evidence of violation, ISOQOL may take possession of the space occupied by the exhibitor and may remove all persons and goods at the exhibitor s risk. The exhibitor shall pay all expenses and damages that ISOQOL may thereby incur. Exhibitors may not affix anything to the walls, doors, floors or columns of the exhibit hall. The purchase of outside food and beverage is not allowed into the exhibit hall unless approved by the Budapest Marriott Hotel. Exhibitors may not place brochures, marketing materials or flyers outside of that company s assigned exhibit space or the literature table as determined by ISOQOL. All illuminated displays and other equipment requiring electrical current must conform to local electrical codes. All extension cords must be 3-wire grounded and UL approved. Exhibitors are required to conform to all local labor regulations in the installation and dismantlement of their booth and exhibit fixtures. Security is not provided, therefore neither ISOQOL nor the facility assume responsibility for damage to, loss of or theft of property. EXHIBITOR AGREES TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER OWN PROPERTY.
