General Description: The annual banquet requires planning for invitations, food, location, decorations and awards. We received invaluable help from the college of engineering to put on this event. Weekly meetings were attended in order to keep everyone on the same page and go over the planning steps that we were taking to put the banquet together. II. Purpose & Relationship to Objectives of TBP: Collaboration between many different people were necessary in order to smoothly plan the banquet. These weekly meetings helped everyone to stay on task and be on the same page so that we could effectively recognize the scholarship donors and award winners at the banquet. III. Organization & Administration: (in conjunction with another group?) X_ Yes No The staff of the college of engineering aided in the planning and execution of the banquet. We are extremely grateful to them for all of their effort in putting the evening together. IV. Cost & Personnel Requirements: Costs for food, awards, printing, etc. are paid for by the college, the chapter and from the cost of the tickets we sell for the banquet. V. Special Problems: None. VI. Overall Evaluation/Results (Be Specific): The banquet went very well this year, thanks to the success of these planning meetings. We sold many tickets and filled the room with students, faculty,

82 and donors to the college. Many accomplishments were recognized including scholarship award winners, freshmen students who earned a 4.0 GPA in their first semester, outstanding faculty and staff, as well as outstanding student members of our college of engineering. In addition, we were able to sell many items in a silent auction to raise money for the student organizations in the college. VII. Index of Exhibits:
