Medicare covers diabetes education and supplies, and the State of New Jersey requires most private insurance companies to pay for diabetes education and supplies. WALK FOR MOM & HEALTH FAIR STEP 1 SCREENING This year, our Walk for Mom for breast cancer awareness will incorporate Holy Name s Annual Healthy Hearts Fair for a day of exercise, education and screenings. Date: Saturday, May 21 Time: 8:00 11:00 am Location: Marian Hall, Conference Room #4 Register for a cardiac screening blood test. Fasting is required from midnight the day before the blood test. Results will be mailed to your home prior to the Health Fair. EVENING SERIES STEP 2 Incorporates Annual Healthy Hearts Fair Date: Saturday, June 11 Time: 10:00 am 2:00 pm Location: New Overpeck Park, Ridgefield Park, NJ Join us at the Healthy Hearts Fair. Bring your blood test results to discuss with Holy Name s healthcare professionals. Take advantage of free screenings, including blood pressure and BMI. Sometimes balance is affected when people develop dizziness, lightheadedness, and/or motion sickness. Certain diseases such as Parkinson s disease, multiple sclerosis or neuropathy can also cause balance difficulties. These conditions can interfere with one s ability to perform daily activities accurately and safely, and disrupt your quality of life. Learn about the causes and treatments to improve balance and decrease or eliminate dizziness. A balance screening will be available after the talk.
