10 Kicking goals for Youth Empowerment! All together, we will establish a new world record of most people kicking goals in one day in multiple locations. (technical instructions will be shared in next communications) Support Material 1 - Page 10

11 What is the relation between the YMCA and Football? Everybody knows that football is one of the most popular games in the world. What few people know is that YMCA contributed to the sports world with more than Basketball and Volleyball. We created a version of it; futsal (soccer indoor) at the YMCA in Uruguay through the work of Mr. Juan Carlos Ceriani Support Material 1 - Page 11

13 Aim high the sky is the limit! With the world watching it s the perfect opportunity to show the best of your YMCA! Photo Competition, fundraising activities, Party, Sports competition, Open Day, Exhibitions, Art showcase, Public events, demonstrations, festival, public stunt, music... Whatever your YMCA does! 14 Isn't June 6th the YMCA birthday? So, why not double up and celebrate with the global movement also that day? What better way to bring the international YMCA into your local YMCA? You can adapt any planner activity, programme or ongoing campaign to the World Challenge framework by simply adding the main activity: Kicking goals for Youth Empowerment. 17 We know fundraising is important for all YMCAs So, let us fundraise for Youth Empowerment locally and globally by adding a resource mobilisation dimension to your local event. Raffles, Bingo, Auctions, Competitions, Membership, Donations Support Material 1 - Page 17

18 What is our goal? To wake up the sleeping giant together. When we act together globally we make our organisation more visible at all levels. In time, the YMCA will be recognised as the leading organisation for young people in the world. Support Material 1 - Page 18
