1 Finzi Inaugurals, It is with great exhilaration we finally bring you the first-ever finzi motif! Though you might not have witnessed it, we assure you there was much self-fiving and cabbage-patching after gently settling your motif on your doorstep. We wanted your first experience of the finzi motif to be filled with kombucha that is unfamiliar, delicious, and season-appropriate - hence the name. Represented in your motif is kombucha from breweries within walking-distance matched with breweries from as far as Portland. It is our ambition at finzi to introduce you to breweries you won t find at your local supermarket, and hopefully unusual, possibly exotic flavors you d never think were kombucha-compatible. That said, from time to time, you may see an old familiar kombucha you re already acquainted with, because it s just that good. As the twilight of summer comes upon us, we feel it s fitting to choose kombucha that is refreshing and invigorating. Hopefully you agree. Otherwise you re going to have to schlepp up to the Northwest to get a bottle. About Lion Heart: Artisan, and familyoperated. Their ingredients are locally sourced from businesses and farms in the Pacific Northwest. One of Lion Heart s hallmarks is it offers the lowest sugar content possible in their products with 0-4 grams of sugar per 8oz serving. 3 Fine Feathers Kombucha CO Long Beach, CA Lemongrass Oolong Where to find: This kombucha s availability is peppered throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. A full list can be found on their website. They also sell bottles, growlers, and kegs at their brew house in Long Beach. About Fine Feathers: They brew in small batches and exclusively use glass for fermentation. Their brewery is recognized by the city of Long Beach for sustainability efforts and business practices. 4 Eva s Herbucha Portland, OR Rose City Blend Where to find: This particular kombucha is not available in California. If you re hell-bent on having a bottle, the closest place is Oregon. About Eva s Herbucha: Eva opened shop around 8 years ago and was one of the first kombucha producers in Portland. 5 Zeal Kombucha Sacramento, CA Red Heather Where to find: Zeal is only available in Sacramento. About Zeal: Zeal deals mostly in kegs, however they were nice enough to send us one of two of the only flavors they bottle. Their kombucha is often brewed with an emphasis on botanicals. Ingredients: filtered water, organic cane sugar, rooibos, heather, grains of paradise, chamomile, mint, vanilla and palo santo, and kombucha culture

6 Zama Tea Kombucha Tustin, CA Cilantro Jalapeño Where to find: Zama s kombucha is only available at their Booch Bar in Tustin, CA. About Zama Tea: Zama Tea was founded by Leanne Herrera and began as a place to buy high-quality loose-leaf tea. Later, she opened one of the first kombucha on tap locations in Orange County. She currently rotates over 35 flavors sometimes daily. A few of the bigger retailers are Whole Foods, Vons, and Gelsons. About Health-Ade: Their kombucha is fermented in glass to prevent plastic and metal leaching, producing in super-small batches to allow for premium control over quality, and flavoring with raw, cold-pressed juice from organic produce. Find it at the The Hudson Lobby Cafe in Hollywood, Fresco Community Markets, Two Guns Espresso in Manhattan Beach, Expression 58 in Glendale, and Lassens Natural Foods. About Brew Dr.: The Townshend s Tea Company started as a regular tea house and is now one of the leading breweries in Oregon. Pure Luck s kombucha is also available for delivery via their website. About Pure Luck: Pure Luck was established in 2010 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It then expanded to Bangkok, Thailand where it was met with great popularity. Pure Luck only recently expanded to California.
