5 Chamber of Commerce Meeting April 5, 2017 Present: Erica Hansen, Janene Hill, Kevin Krull, Carol Loschen, Dawn Thompson and Marcia Davis. Absent: Dena Beck, Natalie Janda, Jeanne Jons, Joelle Knott, Simon McKenzie, Conner Peterson, Kim Snavely Meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m. by President Kevin Krull The minutes from the March meeting and Treasurer s report were not approved as a quorum was not present. Approval of these items will be tabled until the next meeting. Old Business I. Blue Jeans and BBQ Marcia Davis presented updated financial information on the March 31st event. Discussion was held on way to improve the event next year. A more formal report of the event will be given after the committee has met and Marcia has received all the bills from the event. II. All Class Reunion Update: Marcia presented a draft of the Alumni Brochure Dean Beck has been working on for the Chamber. III Partnership Recruitment: Marcia presented an update on the Partnership renewals/recruitment results so far. This will be reviewed closer at our next meeting. New Business I. Thursday Night Entertainment: Discussion was held on continuing this program for Marcia Davis has had a few organizations asking to perform. Marcia outlined potential dates and informed the Board we would be unable to hold the event on the Square. There were no objections to moving the event to the Chautauqua Park.
