We are giving our Welcome Bags a facelift and would like the most current information from our members. This can be anything from coupons, brochures, magnets, samples, pens or other goodies. This is a great and FREE way to market your business to those who are new to our community. Welcome to our new board members! Josh Bowar (Sioux Center Christian School) was elected to serve as the 2nd Vice President. Mark Rensink (Kroese and Kroese, PC) was reelected to the office of Treasurer. Welcome to: Sioux Center Chiropractic Wellness is pleased to welcome Tiffany Armstrong, DC as their newest chiropractor. Tiffany specializes in pediatric and perinatal Chiropractic. Pizza Ranch is excited to welcome Spencer Groeneweg as the new General Manager of the Sioux Center store. Spencer is a recent Northwestern College graduate with a degree in Business Management. Dr. Kenneth Tjeerdsma is the new dentist and dental director at Promise Community Health Center. He completed his dental training at Creighton University Dental School this past May and is accepting patients beginning in July. Family Crisis Centers is excited to announce that Sara Eastman will be the Director of Iowa s new domestic violence call center opening in Sioux Center. Julie Schulenberg will also be joining the Iowa Domestic Violence Helpline as the Coordinator of Program Services. Both women bring great experience to this new service in Sioux Center. Beyer Auction & Realty welcomed two new faces in June. Brenda Dokter joins as a Broker Associate and brings over 12 years of real estate experience to the firm. Jacki Maassen joins as a Sales Associate and has a strong background in interior design and general home construction. Congratulations to: David Bronner, Physical Medicine and Rehab Program Manager, and Joe Heitritter, Senior Services Officer with Sioux Center Health on their recent graduation from the Iowa Hospital Association Executive Academy. Dr. Fred Sick (Sioux County Extension) for receiving the Governors Volunteer Award for his work with 4-H and the extension office. Monica McConnel (Sioux Center Public Library) and Craig Disselkoen on their marriage on June 20, 2015 in Sioux Center. Emily Friend (Sioux Center Public Library) who recently graduated from Dordt College. Emily will continue her education at the University of Iowa where she is pursuing her masters degree in Library Science ~Sioux Center Health is teaming up with the Hull Chamber of Commerce for the first ever Splash Bash 5k on Wednesday, August 12. Registration begins at 5:30 pm at Westside Park in Hull and race time starts at 6pm. Cost is $25 if registered by July 29, or $30 after that date. Bring the whole family and enjoy a movie under the stars at Central Park! ~Concert at Central Park: BIG BANG BOOM! is coming to Central Park on Friday, July 10 at 3 pm.
