The show will begin at dark. (approximately 10:00pm) Donations are welcome & can be dropped off at the Chamber Office.

7 Century of Lights 100 year of Gleam in 2015 A calendar of events is available at We need your help to make this event extra special. Clubs, Civic groups, businesses, neighborhoods plan an event & join the celebration. Some ideas: business window decorating, soup feed before the Light of the World pageant, community snow ball fight, gingerbread decorating contest, music & roasting chestnuts on the square etc. Create your event and contact us and we will post it on the web site and help promote your event. 8 Christmas City Tour of Homes 100 Years of Gleam in 2015 The Minden Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring it s Bi-Annual Christmas City Tour of Homes this year on Saturday December 5 th from 1 to 4. And this year is the 100 th year anniversary of the colored lights on the courthouse! The Minden Promotions committee is looking for homes to showcase during this tour - as well as designers who may want to display their talent in any of the homes. (Joy s Floral, Valerie s Interiors, etc.) If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to have your home included in this tour, please contact one of these committee members: Marcia Davis Chamber Director Lynette Beahm Chairperson In the past, we have had homes of all sizes so don t think your home is too small or too large just decorate it and share it!
