1 EPA methods 8000 Series The EPA 8000 methods are designed for monitoring organic pollutants in ground water, as prescribed in the Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA). EPA method 8010B Halogenated volatile organics by GC Method 8010 provides gas chromatographic conditions for the detection of halogenated volatile organic compounds. Samples can be introduced into the GC using direct injection or purge-and-trap (Method 5030).
