According to the calendar, it s still spring and summer solstice is June 21 st. Here in Minnesota that means riding weather. Hopefully many of you have been able to get out and enjoy your bike now that spring and summer weather has finally arrived. We have several Chapter riding opportunities coming up this month. As always, watch your weekly s for more information. June 6 Supper ride to Buckley s Bar & Grill in Walters. Leave Albert Lea Hy-Vee at 6:00 pm. June 9 Dean s Spring ride rescheduled from May. Leave Kwik Trip on East Circle Drive in Rochester at 9:30 am. June 12 Supper ride to Uncle Alberts in Eagle Lake. Leave Albert Lea Hy- Vee at 5:30 pm. Tuesday nights is their all you can eat spaghetti night. - Continued on Page 2 Friends for Fun, Safety & Knowledge

June 23 Bruce s Granddad Bluff Ride leaving Austin Kwik Trip (truck stop) at 9:00 am. Another group will be leaving Stewartville Kwik Trip at 9:00 am and the two groups will meet up at the Casey s in Preston and leave there at 10:00 am. June 24 Chapter C s annual fund raiser at Herman Heights Park in New Ulm at 11:00 am June 30 Marek summer picnic and June Social at noon. July 6-7 MN/ND District Rally, Willmar, MN A future event to start thinking about is the Chapter R Annual BS Session to be held August 18 th in New Richland. If you have the opportunity to get gift certificates or other door prizes, that would be very helpful. We will have sign up sheets at the Marek summer picnic. We like to give a big shout out to Dean Plan, your Chapter R Assistant Director and Ride Coordinator. He has been a great help to us since we ve been dealing with my mother passing away and then my computer crashed around that time as well. I m still having address book issues and will get that figured out one of these days. Thank you Dean, we sincerely appreciate it!
