2 August 27, 2017 Dear Señorita, We are thrilled to welcome you as a member of the class of Señoritas of The Music Guild of New Mexico. For over 60 years, the Señorita Program has provided the young women of Albuquerque an opportunity to participate in community, educational and social events during their senior year of high school. This year of events is a time honored foundation which prepares young women for college life and beyond. The life lessons and skills learned throughout this program benefit young women during their professional careers and community involvement. The bond of Señorita sisterhood will stay with you throughout your adult life. The friendships that you form will continue to grow well beyond this program year and will allow you to enjoy a special tie to someone for a lifetime. 3 Mission Statement The Music Guild of New Mexico Señorita Program provides senior high school women of diverse interests a unique opportunity for personal growth through cultural, educational, and social activities. Proceeds from the Señorita program and ball are the primary source of funding for The Music Guild of NM s non-profit grant program.
