1 Broward County NEWSLETTER: MAY-JUNE 2018 MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION & NEWS On May 8, 2018 our County Commissioners recognized the impact of Mental Health Awareness, knowing there is no health without mental health and proclaimed May as Mental Health Awareness Month! Thanks Judge Ginger Lerner Wren and members of the Mental Health Promotion Action Team (MHPAT) from other mental health agencies, including NAMI Broward County, for making a difference in the mental health; without the support and recognition of elected officials, the mental health would go unnoticed. NAMI Broward County stands with you in meeting the challenge of eradicating the stigma surrounding mental illness. NAMI Broward County - (954)
