4 SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES President s Banquet A highlight of the Annual Conference, the President s Banquet on Monday night brings together all conference attendees for a meal and an entertaining after-dinner speaker. A sponsorship of the President s Banquet entitles a firm s representative to address the banquet audience and a spot at the VIP table. Frankenmuth Fest The 2018 Conference festivities will start in style on Sunday night. Attendees are invited to the Frankenmuth Fest on the terrace of the Bavarian Inn overlooking the tranquil Cass River. A sponsorship of the Frankenmuth Fest includes an opportunity to address the attendees (up to 5 minutes) and recognition in remarks by MAC s executive director or board president. The Hangout In Frankenmuth, grabbing a cup of coffee for a chat is tradition. Attendees will have daily access to The Hangout, a dedicated space off the main conference floor where they can relax, engage in quiet conversation, check those s or have the proverbial caffeinated beverage. 5 EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES The cost to exhibit your products and/or services at the 2018 MAC-MCMCFC Annual Conference is: $825 Deadline to register a space is July 20. Each exhibit registration is allowed two people. To have three or more people, there is a charge of $150/person, beginning with the third person. Exhibit space is approximately 6 and includes a table and two chairs. Exhibitor set-up is Sunday, Aug. 19 from 3PM to 5PM, or Monday, Aug. 20 from 7:30AM to 8AM. Current MAC Corporate and Affiliate Members receive a $100 discount on an exhibit space. We have a limited amount of space for exhibitor booths register early! Cancellation Policy: Refund of registration fee, minus an administrative fee of $100, will be made if cancellation is necessary, provided written notice is postmarked no later than July 20, Absolutely no refunds will be given for requests after July 20, ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES Each of the more than 300 attendees is provided a full-color event program in their registration bag. This program is their guide to all conference events and makes an excellent platform from which to present information. 6 HOTEL RESERVATIONS A stay at the Bavarian Inn encompasses all that is charming about the Frankenmuth community. Please make note of the following important points about our conference there: The cutoff date to reserve your room is July 20, 2018 Rates vary based on single- or double-occupancy and room category. Please see pricing below. A credit card guarantee is required to hold each reservation. A cancellation fee of the first night s room and tax will apply should a guest cancel less than 48 hours prior to arrival or does not arrive to check-in on their scheduled arrival date (no show). Check-in time is 3PM. Check-out time is 11AM. Reservations can be made by calling toll-free at Groups exempt from state sales tax must provide approved written proof a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival. Bavarian Inn Room Rates Room rates are $119 per standard double room, $129 per premium double or king room and $179 per suite. All rates are for single, double, triple and quad occupancy per room per night. There is an additional $15 charge per person for a fifth or sixth person in the same room.
