2 ZOBOSKI SEMINAR Arabba, Italy, Dec 7-10, 2016 Advanced Implantology, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Orthognathic Surgery with Hands-On Workshops on Animal Specimens and Models Organized by the Slovenian Association for Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Organizira Združenje za maksilofacialno in oralno kirurgijo Slovenije - ZMOKS Dear colleagues! It is my pleasure to invite you to the 10 th Zoboski International Seminar, where advanced implantology and regeneration techniques, prosthodontics, orthodontics combined with surgery, imaging diagnostics, aesthetic procedures and TMJ surgery, will all be covered. The Seminar is traditionally held in Hotel Grifone ( in Arabba, Italy, and is organized by the Slovenian Association for Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery (ZMOKS). Faculty members are experienced surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists and orthodontists, and come from all over Europe: Austria (Norbert Fock), Belgium (Joël Defrancq, Sten Stevens), France (Luc Arzel), Germany (Georg-Hubertus Nentwig, Bernd Giesenhagen, Adrian Kašaj), Greece (Stavros Pelekanos), Hungary (Dávid Botond Hangyási) and of course Slovenia (Martina Drevenšek, Vojko Didanovič, David Dovšak, Tadej Dovšak, Rok Gašperšič, Rok Zupančič and Aleš Vesnaver). The seminar consists of morning hands-on workshops on models and animal specimens and afternoon lectures. Each morning, participants will be able to choose between two parallel workshops (see the Course Programme). On the first day of the Seminar, an additional pre-course workshop on Aesthetic Facial Procedures in the Dental Office will take place in the morning. 3 COURSE FACULTY Luc Arzel, DMD is an orthodontist and has his private practice in Cherbourg, France. He was assistant professor at Nice University and regularly lectures on mini implants and class II correction with the Wilson system. Contact: Assist. Vojko Didanovič, MD is a maxillofacial and ENT surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. As the Head of the Oncologic team, his primary focus is oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Contact: vojko.didanovic@kclj.si Assist. Tadej Dovšak, MD, DMD is a maxillofacial surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is part of the Oncologic team, but also focuses on implantological rehabilitation in oncologic patients. Contact: tadej.dovsak@kclj.si Norbert Fock, MD, DMD is a maxillofacial surgeon who worked at the University Hospital in Vienna, Austria for 10 years. Since 2004, he has his own private practice, focusing on implant dentistry with bone grafting procedures, as well as aesthetic facial surgery. Contact: norbert.fock@univie.ac.at Bernd Giesenhagen, DMD is an implantologist and inventor of the Bone Ring Technique for horizontal and vertical bony augmentation. He has his private practice at the Clinic for Implantology in Kassel, Germany. Contact: b.giesenhagen@gmx.de Prof. Adrian Kašaj, DMD, PhD is a periodontist and works at the Department of Operative dentistry and Periodontology at the University of Mainz, Germany. He is well known for reconstructive periodontal and periimplant procedures. Contact: kasaj@gmx.de Doc. Stavros Pelekanos, DDS, PhD is a prosthodontist and has his private practice in Athens, Greece, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry. He is an assistant Professor at the university of Athens (Dpt. of Prosthodontics) and active member of the EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry) Contact: pelekan@otenet.gr Doc. Aleš Vesnaver, MD, PhD is a maxillofacial surgeon and works at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and at the Dental Centre Apolonija in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His speciality is TMJ surgery, but also OGS, trauma surgery, laser surgery and implantology. Contact: ales.vesnaver@gmail.com Joël Defrancq, MD, DDS is a maxillofacial surgeon with his private practice at the o2 clinic in Antwerp, Belgium, sharing his professional time between orthognatic surgery and advanced reconstructive implant surgery. Contact: joeldefr@ncq.be David Dovšak, MD is a maxillofacial surgeon and has his private practice at the Dental Surgical Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia, dealing mainly with implantology, oral surgery, laser surgery and aesthetic facial surgery. Contact: david@d-center.si Prof. Martina Drevenšek, DMD, PhD is an orthodontist and Head of the Dental clinic at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and is very experienced with pre and post-op orthodontics in orthognathic patients. Rok Gašperšič, DMD, PhD is a periodontist and works at the Dental clinic of the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Contact: rok.gaspersic@mf.uni-lj.si Dávid Botond Hangyási, DMD is a periodontist and runs a private practice in Hódmezővásárhely (Hungary). He is also a part time lecturer at the Department of Periodontology of the University of Szeged, a Board member of the Hungarian Association of Periodontology and a key opinion leader for Botiss Medical AG. His main interests are periodontal plastic, reconstructive and regeneration procedures. He is the Head of the Poliklinik für Zahnärztliche Chirurgie und Implantologie at the University of Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
