3 Foreword Dear Colleagues, It is our pleasure to welcome you to our first International Symposium on Orthognathic Surgery, held in Vienna, April 10 12, 2008! We are proud that we can offer you a program with an exquisite group of speakers and well known experts in the field of orthognathic surgery. You will be able to take advantage of their expertise and, as it will be in private atmosphere, also be involved in discussion and panel sessions. Our aim is to attract your full attention, not only as beginners but also as advanced surgeons and the choice of topics will prove this. At the end of the symposium we will have a panel where we will design treatment plans in high sophisticated cases taking the opinions of different experts in consideration. Besides the intense scientific exchange of thoughts you will be able to enjoy the Viennese way of life at a Heurigen Evening together or if you want, experience one of the beautiful concerts, theatres or the opera in Vienna.
