Moreover, the search initially reveals that kojic acid reduces dullness and helps brighten the skin. In this research, the ratios of kojic acid and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) at 1-3 % (w/w) were studied. The chemical and physical properties of AuNPs-kojic acid were characterized by UV-Vis and TEM. Then, ten subjects were studied to assess the antiwrinkle efficacy and other skin benefits of the nano-skin care product containing the combination between naturally extracted kojic acid and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). AuNPs-kojic acid was decreased the melanin, as well as delaying the melanogenesis. This study intends to demonstrate that the combination AuNPs-kojic acid can be a huge advantage to a cosmetic industry. INTRODUCTION Cosmetic industry in Thailand has been dramatically growing. Skin care products have now become essential to our daily lives. However, in order for customer to see immediate results from their products, many manufacturers use chemical that can cause skin irritation or disease. Mercury, for example, can be harmful on lung, kidney and nervous system. Hydroquinone or Mercury Ammonia can create skin discoloration or freckles. Vitamin A acid's user could have skin allergy or other skin irritations such as burning, itching, or peeling. And last but not least, Paraben, which can cause skin cancer. Using too much of the product that contains one or all of these chemical will eventually cause body to have allergic reaction, which can be rash, freckle or pimples and could lead to the worst impact on skin one would never imagine. (Ouebouay Chinosoontrakorn 2009) The only benefit skin care or cosmetic products may have is to help people cover fine lines or blemishes and to help user look better and more confident over all (Rujirek Raksameejaturong 2011). Gold-nanoparticles has been commonly used in many types of industries (Khan and 2014). Its molecules are as small as 1 to 100 nanometre (Buawarun Srichaikul 2013). With this tiny size, Gold-nanoparticles can better penetrate the skin and gradually help improve the condition of skin without any skin irritation (Zhao Jingyue 2015). 2 EXPERIMENTAL Production process for skin care product that contains Gold-nanoparticles Step 1 Prepare basic ingredients by mixing number 1-5 Step 2 Mix in Light Cream maker Step 3 Dissolve Kojic-acid 1, 2, and 3% in three different beakers with white oil at temperature 65 to 80 degree Celsius. When Kojic-acid has been completely dissolved, it will become cream like consistency. Ten subjects who applied the product that contains Gold-nanoparticles Kojic acid on their arms were studied. Gold nanoparticles Kojic acid can affect Melanin reduction on skin 2. 2% and 3% of Gold nanoparticles Kojic acid in skin care product helps reduce Melanin within 14 days after first use ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS 1.
