Epiphany allws certain diagnstic tests t integrate directly with COMPASS. Summary f the Change The fllwing tests will be mved t Epiphany with images (tracings) and interpretatin f results viewable directly frm COMPASS: ECG Adult ECG Pedi ECG Stress Exercise Dbutamine Stress Test Mycardial Perfusin Scan with Exercise Lexiscan Stress Test Diffusin Capacity Exercise Induced Asthma

Epiphany diagnstic test results will be hused in the apprpriate categry under the new Diagnstics tab in Flwsheets (refer t New Diagnstics Tab in Flwsheets View in this editin f Tips and Tricks). Key Pints The Epiphany g live will rll ut n the fllwing dates at the fllwing sites: UMCB March 11, 2014 DCMC March 13, 2014 SMCA & SSW March 18, 2014 SNW, SMCW & SMCH March 20, 2014 SHL & SEBD March 27, 2014 One n ne training will be prvided by Radilgy IS in the Cardipulmnary reading rms at each site fr medical prviders wh uplad r interpret Epiphany test results. Walk in training will be ffered bth the day befre and the day f g live at each site. Training takes apprximately 20 minutes. 2

3 Muse will be available fr histrical access t ECG results until all studies currently in Muse have been upladed t Epiphany. Estimated date the end f April. Cmmunicatin will g ut when all studies that were dne in Muse are accessible frm within Epiphany. Yu can select a Level t filter results. Click n the desired test. The results Reprt will pen. T see the image related t this result, click n the View Image icn 3

5 The View Image icn will be dithered and nthing pens if yu click n it. Images will als be viewable when accessing results frm Dcuments by using the same View Image icn. N changes were made t the lcatin f diagnstic tests in Dcuments. New Diagnstics Tab in Flwsheets View n March 11 Ratinale Fr end users t be able t view diagnstic results, bth dne in and utside f radilgy, in Flwsheets. Summary f the Change The current Radilgy tab will be replaced with a new Diagnstics tab in COMPASS Flwsheets The new Diagnstics tab will have a Level drp dwn with the fllwing categries: Diagnstics View Radilgy Bne density Cmputed Tmgraphy Diagnstic Radilgy Magnetic Resnance Imaging Mammgraphy Nuclear Medicine Ultrasund Special/Interventinal Cardidiagnstics Pulmnary Diagnstics Neurdiagnstics The categries will nly be present if the patient has results in that categry fr the time perid shwing in the date/time bar. 5

6 Key Pints Any test results that have psted within the time perid shwing in the date/time bar will shw in the Navigatr band. The Level drp dwn can be used t quickly navigate t certain categries f tests. All test results can be accessed frm the Dcuments tab just as they are tday (NO change t flder lcatin within Dcuments). 7 N changes are made t the filing structure f diagnstics tests within Dcuments New prcess t rder PRN ECG fr Adult and Pedi Patients n March 3 Ratinale In preparatin fr Epiphany, the PRN ECG rder needs t change s that it cnnects the rder with the result and the tasks are maintained fr the apprpriate departments. Summary f the Change 2 new rders have been built fr PRN EKG rders: ECG PRN Instructin Adult ECG PRN Instructin Pedi The current ECG Adult, ECG Pedi rders will n lnger have a PRN ptin. When a PRN ECG rder is needed, the prvider will place the ECG PRN Instructin Adult/Pedi rder. The Reasn fr ECG Exam bx will remain a required field (ex: Chest Pain) If the patient displays the Reasn fr ECG (ex: chest pain), the nurse will then place the ECG Adult r ECG Pedi rder, sending a task t the fllwing disciplines fr the ECG t be cmpleted: Nurses, Respiratry Therapists, RCPs and Cardiac Techs. The nurse will use the cmmunicatin type f Standard f Care since a signed electrnic rder fr the ECG PRN Instructin rder is already in place. Key Pints The ECG PRN Instructin Adult/Pedi rder will remain active until manually discntinued. 7
