If your answers are Yes to these questions, you might like to consider joining the new handbell choir being formed at St. Patrick's. Rehearsals will be held each week on Thursday evenings, time to be decided by the group. Men, women, and youth are eligible to participate. If you are interested in joining, or even just finding out more about the bells, please contact Florence Brady by calling MISSION TRIP TO HAITI On February 16th, 5 of our parishioners will embark on a week long mission trip to Haiti. Jackie and Ashley Pehan will provide medical care and educational support to the children. Rick Bashaw, Mark Hatley and Bob Smith will be a construction team to build classroom tables and chairs, bed frames and other projects to enhance living conditions at the orphanages. Please pray for safe journey and a productive week for our St. Patrick s team and the rest of mission trip participants. On another note, many thanks from the Give Hope Global community to the overwhelming response in fulfilling the mission trip supply list via this weeks post on Realm. Our St. Patrick s community has shown great generosity helping to provide much needed supplies for this trip! YOUTH & CHILDREN MINISTRY If you would like to view the January 2019 Children and Youth Newsletter click here. 3 University (FPU). Last year there were 20 people who participated. The nineweek program meets weekly at the church and it is open to all. The public is also welcome. The class teaches biblically based common sense ways of helping people budget and get out of debt. The class will start February 21st at 6:30 p.m. A modest meal and day care are planned. Mark and Ginny Stehle will be leading the program. Go to for more information ALTAR FLOWERS Every Sunday our church is blessed to have beautiful flowers grace our altar. Donating altar flowers is a simple way to honor a loved one, glorify God, and beautify the altar. You can choose any Sunday and include a description of who you would like to dedicate your flowers to. It can be done in honor of a person or in memory of someone, in celebration of an anniversary or other milestone, or in thanksgiving for friends or family. Their names will appear in the bulletin on the Sunday you select. If you prefer, you can simply give the flowers to the Glory of God. If you would like to share in this opportunity please click here to sign up. ENVELOPES FOR FAMILY GIVING If you requested envelopes for your family giving when you filled out your pledge card, you will find them on the table in the Narthex. If you did not request envelopes but would like them, just stop in the office on Sunday or jlynch@welcomestpat.org. ROOM IN THE INN Our congregation continues to support this important ministry, at Dale House, the first and third Thursday evening of February and March. Volunteers arrive early to make up beds, set out towels and toiletries for each neighbor, and set the tables for dinner. The following day we serve them breakfast and pack a lunch to take with them. This is such a rewarding ministry. They are all so appreciative, and we always receive more than we give by knowing how much we have helped our neighbors. Please join us by going to our website at welcomestpat.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the volunteer heart. You can also and be taken directly to the SignUpGenius. If you need assistance in signing up please contact Lisa Underwood at parishadmin@welcomestpat.org. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Sigrid Gimla at or sigridgimla@gmail.com. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. (Matthew 25:40) NEWCOMER COOKIE PARTY All newcomers are invited to attend These parties are held in the Rector s Study every third Sunday following the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. If you are new to St. Patrick's, this is a great opportunity to meet the clergy, learn a little bit about St. Patrick's, the Episcopal Church, and, of course, eat homemade cookies!!! Bring your questions, your children, and your appetite for this informal gathering. Our February Newcomer Cookie Party will be Sunday, February 17th.
