1 Autumn Newsletter 2018 Summer 2018 will be one to remember. The average temperature downtown Toronto throughout the summer hovered around 35 degrees with the humidex. That means water was in high demand. We hit the streets week in and out with many volunteers helping the homeless get that vital bottle of ice cold water they needed, along with summer hats, some toiletries, summer clothing and food cards for meals. Thank you to everyone who supports our work so together we can help those who live on the streets in downtown Toronto.

3 Special Thanks to Rev. Chuck Price and Reapers in the Rain International for the Summer hats for the homeless. It was Another Busy Summer Outreach Season: We handed 50lbs of Summer clothing and over 70 Summer hats and several blankets for sleeping on the ground. We handed out 15 summer survival kits (Thx to the Bargains Group.) We gave out over 120 Food cards for meals. Handed out several gift cards to Dollarama for toiletries and additional food and purchased some new clothing items for those requesting them. Handed out over 500 bottles of ice cold water Handed out many Bibles at Yonge and Dundas Sts. Provided many meals directly to those needing them at local restaurants downtown. We preached and handed out over 500 Gospel tracts in partnership with our volunteers & friends at Yonge and Dundas Streets

4 Our Street Ministry continues to help many with necessities for living. This Young Indigenous man Mark, received some gift cards for clothing and food. He was so grateful he smiled willingly for the shot. He now assists us with some street work all because he felt God blessed him first. Here is Mark from the picture above in the black T-shirt in this pic still homeless & living in Toronto helping our Ministry. He now gives back by assisting us with some water distribution on the streets on some very hot days. We are able to assist individuals like Mark all because of our faithful supporters. Thanks to everyone who gives to help those like Mark who are really in need.

5 Our Summer Outreach Ministry helps the Most Vulnerable through Our Water Distribution Ministry all Summer Long The temperature was about 40 degree downtown when we saw this poor man requesting some water. Thankfully we were able to distribute more than 500 bottles this past summer to needy street people just like him. Even the homeless need a Bible. Seen here, we gave a man at Yonge and Dundas Streets a Bible and a food card just before I preached.

Meet Justina another Young Lady happy to accept Christ into her heart as I was sharing the Word at Yonge and Dundas. A Word from Pastor Dean I can t say enough about how proud I am of the many volunteers who have come on board this past quarter to assist us preaching, or assisting the homeless through our clothing ministry or the water and food distribution ministry. Thanks to everyone who continues to give whether by clothing donations or by finances to make what we do more productive. There are more homeless and refuges living on the streets in Toronto than at any time in our history. Our shelters are full, running to capacity already and its not even winter.
