2 Welcome to Priory Court community centre We have a number of courses and activities available. You must enrol first to secure a place on any course or workshop. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please allow plenty of time before the course starts to come in and register at the centre in person. Information can be found on the back of the brochure. Silver surfers part 1 computers guide for beginners (starts 25 April) Silver surfers Part 2 internet & Introduction (starts 6 June) For anyone who would like to learn how to use a computer and the Internet in a relaxed, non-threatening environment. It s free and anyone is welcome to join in. Affordable warmth & energy efficiency 10-12:30pm 18/06/2014 Troubleshooting surgery to help reduce energy costs Are you struggling with high energy bills? Come along to our surgery where we can advise on home improvements that will reduce costs. Health & wellbeing activities 11am-3:30pm Luncheon club / senior citizens bingo club This service has been organised and run by local volunteers since 1955! A friendly get together for lunch and a social chat. The usual menu is fish & chips, side salad, bread & butter, a dessert and a cup of tea all for only 2.50! After lunch we run Bingo sessions from 2-3:30pm. For pensioners Please contact Pauline or Pat on s :30-4:30pm Priory Court gardening club Come and see how we have created a sustainable vegetable garden. We want to encourage people of all ages to enjoy the benefits of growing their own food. Open to all ages

5 Youth activities Tuesday 5-7pm During term time MultiSports (with Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme) A variety of free sports. Promoting physical activity and improving existing skills in a fun and non-competitive environment. Activities include cricket, basket, tennis and football years Caged play area Tuesday 6-8:30pm Priory Court Youth Club (with Agudze Dance Ensemble) An opportunity to improve communication skills, build confidence and team working skills whilst having fun. Activities include a variety of workshops and activities from healthy eating courses to sports events, sexual health advice and computer game sessions. For traditionalists we hand or machine piece our patchwork quilts. Some simple sewing skills preferred. For women of all ages Priory Court honesty library We now have our own honesty library! You can borrow any of our books for FREE! No checking in or out, no time limits, no fines. We just ask that you return them when you ve finished with them. Thank you!
