Clubs with Clubmark or their NGB equivalent are entitled to an additional discount. More information and how to apply Club Matters Sport England s Club Matters is the essential one-stop shop of free support for sports clubs. 3 Training and support Helping you make Sport happen Kent Sport offers a range of services to support individuals to become coaches, provide development opportunities for current coaches and promote coaching opportunities across the county. Coaching encompasses all individuals leading or assisting the delivery of sport, whether you are an activator or leader through to a coach, teacher or instructor we are here to help. Kent Coaches Register All coaches are invited to sign up to the Kent Coaches register FREE of charge. We have recently moved to a new online system with an integrated activity finder and workshop bookings. You can now publish the sessions you deliver to recruit more participants or simply create an online profile for yourself. By signing up to the register you can also receive the latest coaching news and access opportunities to develop your coaching skills. Kent Sport Mentors Talent Foundation Programme and Youth Coaches An exciting regional project aimed at addressing the imbalance of male to female coaches in sport. Over 100 women have been directly supported in Kent with more than 600 ladies across the South East engaged since March The project offers support, advice, training opportunities and bursaries to women taking their first steps into coaching, progressing to another level or simply those wishing to engage with others like them. To be part of this fantastic initiative visit saw the Kent Sport Mentor Network progress into Talent Development and this year we will further expand into programmes where coaches are working with young people. Kent Sport Mentors focuses on developing the wider coaching skills rather than technical and tactical expertise so mentors and their coaches will be matched across sports wherever possible. Our partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University and Sportslab continues to ensure learning opportunities are available for mentors and coaches. We are always keen to hear from coaches wishing to access a crosssport mentor as well as those who would like to consider becoming a mentor. For more information or to register your interest please contact Lucy Cassell via the details If you would like to find out more about any of the services provided including bespoke events for groups of coaches visit or contact Louisa Arnold or Lucy Cassell.
