9 TUESDAY OCTOBER 16 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Baltimore Learning Collaborative: A Community Association Capacity Building Event Community Law Center is hosting our first-ever citywide capacity building conference, designed especially for neighborhood association and small nonprofit members and leaders who want to better understand how to get an organization started, revived, functioning properly, or moving to the next level. We'll cover: what to do if your organization's 501(c)(3) status has lapsed; how to get a Board of Directors up and running; sorting through the maze of federal and state tax requirements; what it takes to acquire property and maintain it as a community; the importance of bylaws; successful coalition building; and more.
