10 Update frm EFSA HORIZON SCANNING Transferable resistance t clistin and erythrmycin Recently, hwever, interbacterial transfer has been described in Asia fr Clistin resistance in Enterbacteriaceae (Liu et al., 2015), and Erythrmycin resistance in Campylbacter (Wang et al., 2015). These are imprtant develpments! Plasmid-mediated resistance can spread rapidly between different bacterial strains leading t widespread disseminatin Erythrmycin resistance in Campylbacter and clistin resistance in Enterbacteriaceae are bth f public health significance, but ccur at lw, very lw r undetected levels in many MSs.
