Patients often present with conflicting information and an eagerness to gain control over and unpredictable disease. As research continues to explore the link between food and IBD, this session will cover the nutrition assessment, intervention, and evaluation of the IBD outpatient and review the use of elimination diets such as low fibre and low FODMAP.

It is essential that arrangements be made in advance with a recommended drayage service.

8 Sponsorship Policies and Guidelines Exhibitor Showcase Display/Exhibit Area Display/exhibit space assignments in the Exhibitor Showcase will be made by Dietitians of Canada and shared with participating sponsors before the conference. Eligible sponsors (those sponsoring $2,000 or more) will be given a 6 long x 2 deep draped table in the Exhibitor Showcase. Portable tabletop displays are preferred and floor displays are permitted if they fit within the allocated space. The area below the tabletop may be utilized for storage. Forms to order electrical service will be provided with the Sponsor Confirmation Package. Displays/Exhibits Programming Each sponsor will be given a 6 long x 2 deep draped table at the function they sponsor in a space that is 10 long x 3 deep. If you wish to set up a display in this space you may do so ½ hour in advance (schedule permitting) of your sponsored event. Sponsors must remove all their material from sponsored functions immediately after the function is over. Another sponsor may be scheduled for the next time-slot. Sponsors are responsible for their own shipping and courier arrangements. We ask that you consider the Environmental Guidelines as you prepare your shipments. Materials that will be picked up by your courier at conference closing should be clearly labeled, with completed waybills. A charge may be applicable for any materials held for pick up at the Allstream Centre. Neither Dietitians of Canada nor the Allstream Centre will be responsible for shipping or storing material left behind after the end of a function. Exhibitor Showcase - Installation, Exhibit & Dismantle Schedule Installation of displays for the Exhibitor Showcase is from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm. The Receiving Docks at the Allstream Centre are very busy. Ensure you give yourself ample time to deliver your materials. The Exhibitor Showcase hours are from 12:30 2:15 pm. All displays/exhibits must remain intact until the specified time outlined in the sponsor Confirmation Package. All material must be removed from the Showcase area by 4:30 pm. Sponsors are responsible for their own shipping and courier arrangements. We ask that you consider the Environmental Guidelines as you prepare your shipments.
