To know the main pathological mechanisms of diseases and injuries of the Nervous System. b. Understand the main clinical and biomechanical manifestations of diseases and injuries of the nervous system. c. To know the most frequent complications, of the different apparatuses and systems, for the diseases and injuries of the nervous system. d. Understand and apply the main techniques and procedures of physiotherapy in the pathologies of the nervous system. e. Determine the objectives and plan and execute the plan of activities for each specific case. f. Precisely implement the methods and techniques related to the Physiotherapy discipline. g. Demonstrate that it comprises the experimental and observational tests of scientific theories and their applications in the disciplinary field of Physiotherapy. h. Demonstrate the personal and intellectual autonomy necessary to undertake continuing vocational training. i. Place the new information and the interpretation of the same in its context. j. Communicate consistently the basic knowledge of acquired physiotherapy. k. Demonstrate that it understands the general structure of the discipline Physiotherapy and the connection with its subdisciplines. l. 6 6 PCA-27-F-01 Ed.00 CE21 - The criteria and indicators that guarantee the quality of the provision of the physiotherapy service, through the use of guidelines of good clinical practice and professional standards. CE28 -Systematically elaborate and complete the Complete Physiotherapy Clinical History, where all steps taken from the patient / user's reception to the Physiotherapy discharge report are recorded in an adequate and efficient manner. CE29 - Assess the functional status of the patient / user, considering the physical, psychological and social aspects. CE30 - To determine the Diagnosis of Physiotherapy in accordance with internationally recognized standards and with international validation instruments. This competence includes hierarchizing the needs of the patient / user to attend with priority those that most commit to the recovery process. CE31 - Design the Physical Therapy Intervention Plan. Develop a specific Physiotherapy Intervention Plan using problem solving and clinical reasoning skills: in line with available resources; formulating the objectives of intervention with the user and, where appropriate, with the significant people in their environment, collecting their expectations regarding care; selecting the protocols or procedures most appropriate to the planned attention, according to criteria of adequacy, validity and efficiency. CE41 - Keeping up-to-date the fundamentals of knowledge, skills and attitudes of professional skills, through a process of lifelong learning (lifelong learning); to analyze critically the methods, protocols and treatments of the attention in Physiotherapy and to ensure that these are adapted to the evolution of the scientific knowledge. 10 10 PCA-27-F-01 Ed.00 MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS: (1) Only those students who have passed the theoretical exam (with a grade of at least 5 out of 10) can take the practical exam. (2) It is necessary to have both exams approved in order to pass the subject. (3) Notes from one call to another will not be saved. To overcome the subject it will be mandatory to exceed all of the proposed items. 1. Theoretical evaluation: 50% It will be held at the end of the semester through a final written test consisting of: 30 multiple-choice (test-type) questions and four response alternatives each. Every three wrong answers will void one correct. With a percentage of 30% of the total qualification. 1 development question (case) with a percentage of 20% of the total qualification. The minimum grade to pass the final theoretical test of both parties as a whole will be 5 out of Individual and/or group work and assistance: 10% Along the course will be individual works: pre-practical records, readings, comments of scientific articles. The group work will be oriented to a pathology of the SNC as well as the corresponding physiotherapeutic treatment. 3. Practical examination The practical evaluation will be carried out at the end of the semester through a practical examination that will consist of the execution of two maneuvers between all the views during the practices. The minimum grade to pass the practical assessment will be 5 out of Assistance It will take into account the attendance to the theoretical classes as well as the participation and attitude in them. Assistance will be provided every day through the platform. The value given in each session on the percentage that corresponds to each session will be as follows: Support 100% Delay up to maximum half an hour: 50% Official Justification: 50% Absence: 0% The value awarded in the subject is 5% of the final grade. CRITERIA FOR MENTION OF DISTINCTION: The mention of Distinction will be awarded to students who have achieved a score equal to or greater than 9.0. The number of Distinctions granted will not exceed 5% of students enrolled in a subject in the corresponding academic year unless enrolment is under 20, in which case only one Distinction may be granted.
