Host by Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University May, 2010 This is the start of a series of small group seminar on the psychological interpretation of fairytales. Group size Group size is restricted to 8-15 participants who can attend at least 3 out of 4 sessions. Analyst s biography Shirley Ma, PhD, is the author of Footbinding: A Jungian Engagement with Chinese Culture and Psychology, the first book to explore Chinese femininity and individuation process in Chinese woman written by a Jungian analyst. She is the first Chinese Jungian analyst recognized by the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP) in 1980s, and the first Chinese graduate from the CG Jung Institute, Zurich, where Prof CG Jung taught. Dr. Ma has over 25 years of experience as a practicing Jungian psychoanalyst in Canada and Hong Kong. She is a training analyst and faculty member at the C.G. Jung Institut and International School of Analystical Psychology both in Zurich, Switzerland.
