2 INVITATION FROM THE COMMITTEE Dear Friends, The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) is thrilled to invite you to Chicago for the 24th Biennial Conference on Diseases of the Vulva & Vagina. We are combining the basic scientific approach with the clinical approach to vulvovaginal disease. We hope you will learn new tips and tricks for the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. The Embassy Suites Downtown Lakefront has hosted this event for us since 2010 and has proven to be a great venue for collaboration, learning and friendship. The hotel is located on the corner of Illinois Street and Columbus Drive, ideally situated between Navy Pier and the prestigious shops of famed Michigan Avenue the Magnificent Mile. The hotel is approximately 40 minutes from Chicago O Hare airport and approximately 20 minutes from Chicago Midway airport. 3 THE SOCIETY The International Society of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) is the foremost organization for those providing care for adults, as well as, children and adolescents with vulvovaginal disease. It is a truly international organization with members from more than 30 countries. In addition to its extensive health professional membership, it meets every other year for a World Congress. On the Off-Congress year, we host our Biennial Conference on Diseases of the Vulva & Vagina in the United States. This meeting is unrivaled as an educational opportunity but also provides a platform for networking and a forum for those practitioners interested in vulvar disease to gather and compare data and evidence on various treatment options. With data from ongoing research and innovations in diagnostics and clinical treatments, it is becoming increasingly difficult to treat patients with vulvovaginal diseases without the support of strong pharmaceutical and medical supply industries. Attendees will be keen to learn from innovation that is occurring in this sector and how advances in decision support, user interaction design and information and data discovery can assist in the practice of medicine. We expect approximately 300 US registrants with a substantial proportion being key decision makers and budget holders for their health institutions. COURSE WEBSITE

4 Global Thinking for Women's Wellness Mission To promote international communication among gynecologists, pathologists, dermatologists, and related disciplines, and to establish international agreement on terminology and definitions of vulvovaginal diseases. To promote clinical investigation, basic research, and dissemination of knowledge in this field. Logo The ISSVD Logo is a gothic arch corresponding to the lines of longitude of an overlying globe. The late Dr. Eduard G. Friedrich, Jr. stated in his 1983 presidential address, Foundations of the Arch, that although the structure appears to be a finished edifice, we are more like one of the great cathedrals of Europe in its unfinished state. Those who struggled with the early foundations rarely lived to see the completed structure. They depended on those who came afterward to achieve the fulfillment of their vision. Goals To define the essential facilities and resources for delivery of vulvaginal disease care. To help caregivers develop and identify resources necessary to build adequate infrastructure for local delivery of vulvovaginal disease care. In recognition of the disparity of resources and access, to assist in adaptation of treatment to improve outcome regardless of location. To organize regional and global meetings for those involved in vulvovaginal disease care to provide a platform for education, research, and professional networking. To have over 50% of countries represented in the ISSVD membership. To have all levels of professional healthcare providers worldwide as members of ISSVD. To have 50% of active members attend the annual meeting. To ensure that annual meetings are affordable to all members. To facilitate continuing professional education by providing educational meetings and other educational materials. To secure the Society s financial stability.

12 Exhibiting at the 24th Biennial Conference on Diseases of the Vulva and Vagina Pricing of Exhibits The cost of exhibiting at the 24th Biennial Conference on Diseases of the Vulva and Vagina is as follows: One day exhibition: $1,000 Two day exhibition: $1,500 Location of Exhibits The exhibit area will be set up in the foyer directly outside the ballroom where the lectures take place. The registration area and coffee breaks will also be located there. Exhibit Hours Friday, September :00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday, September 8.. 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Specifications of Exhibits All exhibitors will be provided a 6 skirted table and two chairs. Any additional needs or requests must be forwarded to Debbie Roepe at ISSVD Headquarters at issvd@issvd.org and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Liability The exhibitor, upon contracting to exhibit, expressly releases the ISSVD or any of its officers, directors, employees, or committee members from any responsibility or liability for any injury or loss, or damage that may occur to the exhibitor or property prior to, during, or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibitors contract, including but not limited to any responsibility or liability for negligently caused injury, loss, or damage; and further, the exhibitor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the ISSVD against any and all claims made against the ISSVD by any person and arising out of the exhibitor s acts or omissions. Cancellations/Refund Policy Because of the many advance preparations in connection with your exhibit, we cannot refund exhibitor fees after August 1, In the event that the meeting is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the ISSVD, all exhibitor fees will be refunded.
