Please be patient with this transition. Official Mail and Distribution Center Closings August the OMDC will be closed. August 19 and 21 the courier will continue to deliver mail and pick up mail from customers. August 20, the OMDC will be closed no mail delivery, customer service window will be closed. 2 Hydrant Testing at Forest Glen Hydrant testing at Forest Glen will be completed August 22, 23, 29, 31 and September 5,6,12,13. For more information, call (301) Auditorium and Classrooms Closed for Maintenance August From August 24 28, the auditorium and classrooms in building 1520 B will be closed for maintenance. Classrooms 5A, 5B, and 5C will remain open. This is to allow the contractors to fulfill the requirements outlined in the contract. DHR will be the lead for the classrooms and DFMWR for the auditorium. Feds Feeds Families The 2015 Feds Feed Families Campaign season runs until August 31. The Commissary has a drop off box at the exit doors for your convenience. We encourage you to collect and donate food, as children and families across the United States continue to be in great need. We also have put together a Feds Feeds Families grocery bag that is full of nonperishable items for you to purchase and place in the drop off box. If you have any questions or concerns call (301) Volunteer Opportunities The Boys & Girls Club is sponsoring the Tour de Frederick on Saturday, August 15. The race begins at 7 a.m. at the Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 S. Carroll Street (downtown Frederick). Athletes of all ages should know how their bodies work in order to compete and stay healthy. Classes are held the third Thursday of month.
