Spring semester memberships, lockers, climbing wall passes and group exercise passes are discounted to half price March 20. Payroll deductions are available for faculty and staff at the beginning of each semester. Deduction deadlines are January 11 and February 13. Please visit the Rec Sports Office for further details.

3 AQUATICS Aquatics by visiting recsports.unt.edu/aquatics SWIM INSTRUCTION KIDS LEARN-TO-SWIM PRE-SCHOOL For children 3-5 years old. MON/WED 5:30PM-6:00PM LEVEL 1 - INTRODUCTION TO WATER SKILLS Children 6+ yrs old who have little to no experience around water. MON/WED 5:30PM-6:00PM LEVEL 2 - FUNDAMENTAL AQUATIC SKILLS Children must demonstrate all of the completion requirements in Level 1, and be able to float independently with basic kick. MON/WED 6:10PM-6:40PM LEVEL 3 - STROKE DEVELOPMENT Participants must demonstrate all of the completion requirements from Level 2, and be able to do a recognizable stroke with basic breathing technique. MON/WED 6:50PM-7:30PM PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS Individuals receive personal attention to develop, improve, and refine strokes. Each session is 30 minutes. 4 FITNESS Fitness by visiting recsports.unt.edu/fitness FITNESS PROGRAMS BOOT CAMP Boot camp is an intense cardiovascular and muscle strengthening program led by one of our certified personal trainers. MON/WED/FRI 6:30AM-7:30AM SESSION I: FEBRUARY 6 - MARCH 3 REGISTER BY: FEBRUARY 3 KETTLEBELL This kettlebell program is a great way to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and endurance. All fitness levels are welcome! WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 INTRO TO TRX Ever wonder how to use the straps hanging from the Torque station? Learn the basics of adjusting the TRX and how to use it for a full body workout. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8 THIS IS HOW WE ROLL Spend this hour perfecting myofacial release techniques. This workshop will teach you foam rolling and static stretching. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12 PERSONAL TRAINING From designing a customized workout plan to providing ongoing motivation and support, our trainers are dedicated to help you achieve your fitness goals! CYCLE This high intensity, low impact stationary cycle class incorporates cardio, hills, varying speeds and resistance. DANCE JAM This zumba-style class is packed full of choreographed dances to a variety of music. GLUTES & GUTS This is a quick, high energy muscle conditioning class that tones and shapes your hips, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen. JUMP ROPE TRAINING A 30 minute tried-and-true exercise increases your respiratory fitness with cardio intervals and core training. KICKBOXING Kick, punch, and groove the calories away in this actionpacked, fun, intense, and effective cardiovascular workout! PILATES A mat-based class to tone and tighten your entire body, giving you the long lean muscles you ve always wanted. POWER HOUR This class is a total body, circuit-style class combined with quick, cardio intervals. RIPPED This 60-minute barbell class focuses on low weight loads and high repetitions of simple movements. FREE EVENTS ZUMBA PARTY Come join the party and enjoy 1.5 hours of FREE Zumba! Zumba Party will be held on our indoor basketball court, so you can come and go as you please. Sample all of your Zumba instructors as they play your favorite songs. Pair this class with Vertical Happy Hour at the Climbing Wall for an evening of free climbing and yoga! This class will be held outside in the backyard. WED 8:00PM-9:00PM FREE FEBRUARY 8 MARCH 1 STEP EXPRESS This express class offers a quick and effective 30-minute cardio workout with different drills that are easy and fun! SWEATSHOP A powerhouse workout that alternates between functional strength training and high intensity cardio intervals. T-30 A 30 minute, fast-paced, total body tabata workout that will build your cardio endurance and strength. YOGA Combine challenging postures with relaxing stretches. Yoga I: Beginner Yoga II: Intermediate Yoga III: Advanced ZUMBA This dance-style class features rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.
