3 HTP: BAKE OFF Saturday, 1st October: A creative afternoon baking chocolate brownies and millionaire s shortbread yum! at Fareham College training kitchen. Please bring a drink, an apron (we are not liable for clothes becoming stained) and a container to take your baking home in. Wheelchair accessible.

4 MARY ROSE MUSEUM: WORK EXPERIENCE Saturday, 8th October: This will be a chance to find out more about the work experience on offer, plus a guided tour around the Museum. Followed by a snack in the Mary Rose Museum café. Please bring a drink and some snack money. Wheelchair accessible

5 PLAYZONE & McDONALD S Friday, 14th October: A fantastic indoor play centre, that s suitable for ALL ages! There are huge slides, rope walk ways, fireman s poles, web climber, tumble overs, up and over pads, bish bash bags Followed by a meal at McDonald s. Please bring a drink.

6 ARUNDEL CASTLE & TEA Saturday, 22nd October: An activity request from our young people! We will wander around the state rooms, stroll through the grounds & enjoy the grandeur of a fascinating castle and grounds. We will finish off with tea and cake. Please bring a drink. Minibus available. Wheelchair accessible - via passenger lift (24 /60cm wide)

7 SPOOKY NIGHT AT STANSTED PARK Saturday, 29th October: A chance to dress up and experience Halloween with: The Haunted Mansion, Ghost Trail, Mysterious Maze, Spooky Storytelling, Fire Juggling and the Ghost Train! 9 WHO WE ARE: HAMPSHIRE TEENAGE PROJECT WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Hampshire Teenage Project is run by Enable Ability and is for young people aged years living in South East Hampshire; our eastern border goes to the end of Emsworth, our western border finishes at the River Hamble and our northern border at Clanfield across to Bishop s Waltham. We accept families residing within these borders. We only accept young people living in Portsmouth if they attend a Hampshire school or college. Please return the reply slip by either handing it in, posting it to the Enable Ability s office or by sending us a reply by . Alternatively, give us a ring or a text on the number below. Please reply DIRECTLY, as time is often restricted and this makes the planning required for the activity very difficult if we do not know the numbers in advance. The Project aims to provide young people with a physical and/or mild-moderate learning disability, or an additional need, with the opportunity to engage in a variety of planned recreational, social and sporting activities as part of a group setting. This enables young people to interact and socialise with other peers on a regular basis. Activities are designed to improve pivotal life skills for all young people; including building their confidence & self-esteem, independence, communications and multitasking skills, to name a few. Hampshire Teenage Project staff are trained and qualified to support young people and accommodate their needs during each activity, regardless of their level of ability, physical or otherwise. When your reply has been received, I will notify you by or phone to confirm your booking. If you wish to attend and have not received confirmation from me, then please contact me directly. Activities for the project include social clubs, going out for meals, going to the cinema, ten pin bowling, art and crafts activities, baking/ cooking, sports and general socialising. We also arrange a variety of day trips outside of the local area for any museums, theatres or theme parks. Once a referral to our Project has been made this can be by a parent, the young person themselves or a professional we arrange a Home Visit to meet the family and have a chat about our Project and what we can offer.
