Monday, January 7, 2019 Art & Soul Barbie Tootle Room (Ohio Union) and thehale Black Cultural Center 6:30 PM to 8 PM After a quick welcome back activity in the Ohio Union, we will go as a group to tour the Hale Black cultural center and discuss the interconnections between culture and leadership. Monday, January 14, 2019 Helpful Tips and Chicken Strips Barbie Tootle Room (Ohio Union) 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Tonight s session will focus not only on time management skills, how to keep your grades up, and where to look for good internships, but also some important updates on how to make the most out of your second year (and beyond) at Ohio State. Saturday, January 19, 2019 Celebrating the Dream Experience (Muhammad Ali Center/ Underground Railroad Freedom Ctr.) 6 AM to 8 PM (Lunch provided) Explore what it means to find your purpose by exploring the lives of Muhammad Ali and other social activists throughout American history. Register online, the cost is only $7. Monday, January 21, 2019 MLK Day of Service Go to for details on how to volunteer with other OSU students, staff and faculty as part of this day on for service. Saturday, January 26, 2019 Salsa and Soul Food Hale Black Cultural Center 7:00 PM to 9 PM Celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Latinx and African cultures with a tasty sampling of local soul food, informative history, and music. Open to all Ohio State students, staff, and faculty. 4

Tuesday, January 29, 2019 A Little Improv/ Theatre 101 Blackburn Victory Room 136 W. Woodruff Ave. 6:30 PM to 8 PM This mandatory Pre-travel workshop will let participants learn how a little improv can help with creativity and innovative thinking. Additionally, details for the "Hamilton Experience" will be discussed including tips for having a great theater experience. Monday, February 4, 2019 Meet Your Child Suzanne Scharer Room (Ohio Union) 6:30 PM - 8PM Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a parent or a guardian? Tonight's meeting will let you find out. And, oh yeah, be ready for a few surprises along the way! 5 Tuesday, February 5, 2019 The Hamilton Experience Ohio Theatre (Downtown Columbus) 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM Don't miss your shot to see the biggest Broadway musical sensation in decades. The true story of Alexander Hamilton explores how an American immigrant goes from the Caribbean to Washington, DC, and then leaves his mark on American history forever. Register online. Monday, February 11, 2019 Global Etiquette: A Survival Guide Barbie Tootle Room (Ohio Union) 6:30 PM- 8 PM Tonight's meeting will focus on how differing norms related to food, everyday interactions and everything in between. Come and learn about some of the things that make us similar and different in how we define "common sense" behavior Tuesday, February 12, 2019 MUNDO Spring Diversity Movie Night Cast your vote using the MUNDO GroupMe starting Jan. 28, 2019 and then find out when and where MUNDO will be viewing an excellent film on diversity and inclusion.

6 Friday, February 15, 2019 A Taste of OSU Ohio Union 5 PM to 9 PM Taste of OSU is an evening of cultural performances on stage, exhibits, and food from around the world provided by more than 30 different international and ethnic clubs on campus. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 STAR HOUSE Service Night 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Volunteer with MUNDO as we help with sorting donations and to learn more about this important resource for at-risk youth. NOTE: Meet at the Ohio Union roundabout area (on the South side of the Union) at 6 PM for round-trip transportation to the site. Monday, February 18, 2019 A Graeter Love Suzanne M. Scharer Room (Ohio Union) 6:30PM-8 PM Tonight's meeting focuses on "FUN" ways to celebrate life, whether it is saying thank you to others, or enjoying a tasty treat from the local ice cream shop. Tips on promoting mental wellness will also be provided (along with a tasty sampling of Graeter's ice cream and other treats.) Monday, February 25, 2019 Until it Happens to You TBD 6:30 PM to 8 PM Tonight's session will focus on how we all can work to stop sexual assault on campus and beyond. The workshop will provide tips, ideas, and recommendations for making sure all individuals feel safe, valued and respected at Ohio State. NOTE: This session will contain potentially TRIGGERING subject matter related to sexual assault. NEW FOR 2019! Monday, March 4, 2019 Samosas and Seoul Food Browsing Room (Morrill Tower) 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM Start your tasty tour of Asia with appetizers and then a light hot pot meal. Next get ready to discuss current issues related to the Asian American and Asian experience throughout the world. Information on MUNDO elections will also be presented. 6

7 SPRING Break 2019 with MUNDO Saturday-Saturday, March 9-16, 2019 Roots of Revolution, Change, and Activism in America Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland MUNDO will explore issues of race, class, and leadership as we delve into American politics from Colonial times to the present. Saturday, March 23, 2019 The RENT Experience Palance Theater (Columbus, Ohio) 2:00-5:00 PM Be part of the 20th anniversary of the first MUNDO event ever! RENT chronicles the life of young people who must deal with the harsh realities of life with poverty, discrimination and AIDS/HIV on the Lower East side of New York. The cost is only $8.
