3 Frequently Asked Question What are Real Life Groups? Jesus chose a relational circle of 12 disciples to release His life-transforming love. Real Life Groups are relational circles releasing God s lifetransforming love. Real Life Groups are Bible studies, Men s groups, Women s groups, Celebrate Recovery groups and more... Who leads Real Life Groups? Group Hosts are not Bible experts or perfect people. They are normal people willing to open their life and grow with you. I m new to Real Life Church, what s the best group for me to start with? Each group has a different theme, topic, and/or focus. You can also select a group by location or by the day on which it meets. You can contact the leaders to get more information about the group. Do Real Life Groups provide childcare? Some groups are labeled Child friendly, which means that children are welcome to attend the group, but there will not necessarily be structured child-care provided. Talk to the group leader for more info. Will I have to pray in front of people? No one is singled out to do anything in front of the group. People can participate according to their own comfort level. How long does a group last? This series meeting for 5 weeks (August 27 th September) Group sessions last about 90 minutes to two hours. Groups aim to begin and end punctually. Should I bring a Bible? YES! If you do not have a Bible, the church can provide you one at the Information Table. How do I join a Real Life Group? You can a group directly with the info provided in this booklet. 14 3
