2 Dear Regis Jesuit Parents: The continued success of Regis Jesuit High School is HUGELY dependent upon parent participation! One of the best ways to become involved is to volunteer your time and share your talents with the Regis Jesuit community. Through volunteering, you can be a vital part of your son s high school experience, meet new parents and rekindle old friendships. This booklet lists a variety of volunteer opportunities available throughout the school year where you can offer your services. Please take a few minutes to look them over. If you are interested in helping with RJHS activities, please check the appropriate event or events on the following page and return it to the Main Office c/o Barb Ingalls, Parent Club Volunteer Coordinator, or via gregingalls@comcast.net. You will be contacted prior to your chosen events by the respective chairs. Please keep this booklet for your reference throughout the year. More specific information about Regis Jesuit s activities and events can be found in The Parent Pages, which you will find on-line. If you have any questions, please contact Barb Ingalls via or at, Thank you for taking time to care about Regis Jesuit... RJ parents are the best! Thank You For Volunteering!!!! 2

8 RJHS PARENT PARTNERSHIPS The Parent Partnership Events are designed to create a unified approach toward fundraising for parents, focused on a few major efforts coordinated by the Advancement Office. This partnership financially supports academics, faculty compensation, tuition assistance, athletics, clubs, equipment and technology. The goal of the Parent Partnership is to engage 100% participation from the Regis Jesuit parent community. Here are the ways you can team with us. * FALL SANCTUARY Wednesday, September 8, 2010 The Fall Classic Golf Tournament helps provide scholarship and tuition assistance for students in need. To be successful in our fifth tournament we need your support either as a corporate sponsor, participant or volunteer. This year s Fall Classic was held on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at The Sanctuary. * P.A.C.E. In addition to providing fellowship, the Parents Annual Campaign for Excellent (PACE) offers an opportunity to educate parents about the financial needs of our school including the gap between tuition charged and the actual cost of educating a student. We always welcome new volunteers to join the many parents who support this effort. * LARK Saturday, April 16, 2011 LARK is the annual dinner and auction supporting scholarship and tuition assistance for students who otherwise would not be able to attend Regis Jesuit High School. LARK relies on many parents to serve on committees, solicit or donate auction items and participate in the evening s activities. LARK is scheduled for Saturday, April 16,
