3 Our Motto The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in students of Stevens High School.

4 But How Do I Do All of This? Answer: THE 4 STANDARDS Doing what is right, when others are not. Taking the initiative to excel academically for one s self betterment. Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem-solvers, promoters of school activities, idea contributors, dependable, and persons who exemplify positive attitudes about life. The voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community.

6 To Be a Member in Good Standing Attend 70% of meetings (6) Makeup: Complete 1 hour of community service prior to next meeting & give to Mrs. Conway Make sure your dues are up to date!
