1 ALPHA BANK CYPRUS LTD CSR ACTIVITY PROGRAM 2018 Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd, through the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, which focuses on Human Resources, Environment and Society, undertakes actions that aim at supporting vulnerable social groups and strengthening of institutions and other bodies related to health, education, culture, sports and environmental protection. The Bank in 2018, supported and/ or participated in the following events: Social Contribution In the framework of the Social Responsibility REACTION Excellence Awards 2018 organized by the non-profit Organization, REACTION, the Bank received an honorary award for its continuous support to the Organization as well as a broader contribution towards society. The annual institution of Reaction Excellence Awards honors individuals, companies and organizations offering to society and specifically to young people either in Greece or Cyprus (January 2018). Main Sponsor of the 26 th Annual Awareness and Prevention Week on Kidney Disease, which is organized throughout the years by the Cyprus Kidney Association. During this week, a Cyprus wide fundraising event takes place, with the aim of supporting the Association, along with informative presentations and discussions (March 2018). 1

2 Sponsor of the 18 th "Love Route" organized by the Pancyprian Association for children and young people with cancer and related diseases, "one dream one wish". The "Love Route" included a Pancyprian motorcycle ride. The ride aimed at raising awareness of the multiple problems faced by children and young people suffering from several forms of cancer. The purpose of the ride was to collect money to meet the wishes of children and young people in the context of the psychological support and financial support program provided by the Association "one dream one wish" to these children and their families (March 2018). Sponsor at the charity event organized by the Agioi Omologites Social Welfare Organisation, aiming at strengthening its fund. The music night was held at the Strovolos Municipal Theater in Nicosia, with the artists, Panayiotis Petrakis and Nadia Boule. The concert was held under the auspices of the President of the Parliament, Mr. Demetris Syllouris. The Welfare Organisation supports kindergardens and infant feeding centers. At the same time it offers food and other essential suppliers to families in need. The proceeds from the charity event were offered, for the needs of the kindergardens and infant feeding centers, of the Organisation (March 2018). Sponsor of the 19 th Joy and Contribution Fete organized by the Pancyprian Association for children and young people with cancer and related diseases, "one dream one wish" in support of their work (June 2018). The Bank during the Christmas and New Year festive season, in lieu of cards and gifts, provided financial support, food and other necessities to benevolent institutions, charities and organizations which support families and individuals in need, in all districts of Cyprus. The main organizations were Europa Donna Cyprus, Vagoni Agapis Charity Association, Cyprus Red Cross Society, Pancyprian Association for children and young people with cancer and related diseases, "one dream one wish". Within the framework of its actions the Bank sponsored Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council s campaign Adopt a family for Christmas (December 2018). 2

3 Volunteerism Alpha Bank actively declares its social face through its employees, with the occasion of "Alpha Bank Group Volunteer Day", which takes place in all countries where the Group is active, each year, usually on the last Sunday of May. In this context, on the 20 th of May, groups of Volunteers, from the Bank s Human Resources, gathered food and other essentials which were then offered to the families through the charity organizations, Europa Donna, Vagoni Agapis and St. Christopher Centre of Donation and Love (May 2018). 3

4 The Bank organizes annually the Staff Blood Donation Day, which is carried out with the voluntary participation of the Staff, in all the provinces in cooperation with the Blood Bank (June 2018). 4

5 Cultural Events Education Alpha Bank was the Major Sponsor of the 10 th United Kingdom University Exhibition, organized by the educational consulting companies, TCS Educational Consultants, in Nicosia and Unilink Education Services, in Limassol. Pupils and students, who were interested, had the chance to speak to educational counsellors and University representatives for graduate and postgraduate programmes, to be informed of the procedure for applications to UK universities, tuition fees and accommodation options. Universities from the United Kingdom participated at the Exhibition (October 2018). 5

6 Participation in the Postgraduate Studies Fair 2018 of the University of Cyprus held at the Social Activities Building at the University Campus. Participants at the Fair included Scholarship and Financing Agencies, Counseling and Career Guidance Organisations and other Services. Alpha Bank was present at the Fair with its own unique stand at the venue, providing visitors with information on all its products and services (October 2018). Culture The Bank sponsors and supports conferences, concerning matters related to the Bank s activities. 8 Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd was awarded during the Annual Business Dinner of the Cyprus Greece Business Association held under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where one company from Cyprus and one from Greece were awarded. This year, Alpha Bank was honored with the special award for its action within the Cypriot market and its timeless contribution developing Cyprus Greece business relations, which was presented by the President of the House of Representatives, Mr. Demetris Syllouris, in the presence of Mr. Elias Photopoulos, Ambassador of Greece. The award was received on behalf of the Bank, by its Managing Director, Mr. Konstantinos Koutentakis (December 2018). Sports Participation in the 12 th International GSO Limassol Marathon, one of the most popular Marathons in Europe, which took place for the 12 th Consecutive year on the Limassol Coastal Road. More specifically, Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd, participated in the 5 kilometres Corporate run with a team of 60 people, which finished in 35 th place out of 205 participating companies totaling nearly runners (March 2018). 8

9 Participated in the 4 th Running Under The Moon, Marathon on Saturday, 23 rd of June The marathon is certified by the international federation AIMS, and it has the particularity of taking place during the evening. Alpha Bank participated in the 5 kilometers Corporate Run with a team of 18 people, which finished in the 10 th place out of 16 participating companies and a total participation of 353 runners (June 2018). 9
